asked the Minister for Education if he has received proposals from the County Laois Vocational Education Committee to provide a permanent extension to Rathdowney Vocational School, if so, when such proposals were received and when he intends to allocate the necessary funds for the carrying out of this work.

75.

asked the Minister for Education if he will outline full details of the plans for the provision of a permanent extension to Rathdowney Vocational School, County Laois, and if he will outline the stages these plans have reached to date.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 74 and 75 together.

An application from the County Laois Vocational Education Committee was received by my Department on 23 March 1979 to provide a permanent extension to Rathdowney Vocational School. The application is under consideration in the context of my Department's programme of schools to be architecturally planned in 1980. A communication in the matter has been issued to the committee.

Questions Nos. 76 and 77 postponed.
