asked the Minister for Finance if he will grant similar income tax concessions to Irish domiciled workers including seafarers as granted by the British Government some years ago to British domiciled workers for all periods spent abroad.

This is a budgetary matter and the Deputy will understand that I could not at this stage give any indication as to what the budget statement might or might not contain.
