Vol. 318 No. 5

Written Answers. - Ballybrack (Dublin) Garda Station.

323.

asked the Minister for Justice if he accepts the need for a Garda station in Ballybrack, County Dublin; if he has been advised by the Garda authorities that one is needed in this area; and if he will provide one.

I have been advised by the Garda authorities that they consider that the provision of a station in Ballybrack would not be warranted at present and that the existing arrangements whereby the area is served from Cabinteely and Shankill stations make the best use of available police resources. It is not therefore proposed to provide a new station at Ballybrack in the foreseeable future.
