asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in commencing work on the new primary school at Moyle, Newtowncunningham, County Donegal.

Tenders have been received by the Commissioners of Public Works for the erection of a new primary school at Moyle, County Donegal, and are being considered at present. It would not be in accordance with normal practice to make further comment at this stage.

asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in erecting the new extension to the primary school at Convoy, County Donegal.

Tenders have been received by the Commissioners of Public Works for the erection of an extension to Convoy primary school, County Donegal, and are under consideration at present.

It would not be in accordance with normal practice to make further comment at this stage.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the application for the erection of a national school at Clunelly, Drung, Quigley's Point, County Donegal.

It is assumed that the school referred to in the Deputy's question is the proposed new central school at Drung which is to replace the existing Drung, Clunelly and Clare national schools.

The present position is that my Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the school and that planning arrangements are proceeding.

asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position regarding the application for the erection of a national school at Tooban, Burnfoot, County Donegal.

My Department have agreed to the provision of a new school at Tooban. The site offered was not acceptable as title was not in order. The school management has been informed that an alternative site should be secured.

216.

asked the Minister for Education if he will approve the provision of a building suitable for games and educational facilities at St. Columba's College, Stranorlar, County Donegal.

There is a considerable backlog of applications for grants for physical education halls and all the secondary schools which have applied for a hall have been listed for consideration. This list includes St. Columba's College.

I am not in a position at this stage to state what decision may be made in the case.
