Vol. 319 No. 3

Written Answers. - Ballyfermot (Dublin) Primary School Repairs.

207.

asked the Minister for Education if his attention has been drawn to the serious situation at Mary Queen of Angels primary schools, Balleyfermot, Dublin, in the light of industrial action by the teachers, when the necessary repairs will be sanctioned, commenced and completed and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that tenders have been invited by the school management's architect for the carrying out of necessary works to the school.

The question of a grant will be considered by my Department when a report is received from the Commissioners of Public Works in the matter.

It is not possible to state at this stage when the repair work may commence.
