asked the Minister for Agriculture if his attention has been drawn to the application made by a person (details supplied) in County Galway, for a grant, under the farm development scheme, and if he will make a statement in the matter.

Further examination of this case must await a formal application from the parties concerned.

32.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a ewe hogget grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Payment of the headage grant was withheld in this case in order to afford the flockowner an opportunity to reconcile a discrepancy between the number of hogget ewes presented by him and the numbers covered by this dipping certificate. He has however failed to do so and arrangements are now being made to restrict the grants to the number of hogget ewes covered by the dipping certificate.
