Vol. 319 No. 9

Written Answers. - Land Acquisition and Division.

36.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in vesting lands in a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply I gave to his Question No. 14 on 1 November last.

The difficulties to which I referred in that reply have recently been cleared up and the necessary vesting order will be made very soon.

37.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason the O'Shea Estate at Ballymacoda, County Cork, which has been acquired for a few years, has not been allocated and when division will take place.

A portion of this property is occupied by two persons who were given seasonal lettings for the 1979 season but refused to vacate the lands on the expiration of the lettings. The Land Commission have instructed their solicitor to take the necessary action to recover possession so that allotment can take place at the earliest possible date.

38.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Land Commission have any plans for the acquisition of the Sarah Feeney Estate. Clooncullane, Creggs, County Galway.

The Land Commission have no plans for the acquisition of the property referred to.
