The full names and addresses of the three Local Appointments Commissioners are as follows: (Chairman) Mr. Joseph Brennan, TD, Ceann Comhairle, Dáil Eireann, Baile Átha Cliath 2; Dr. Brendan J. Hensey, Custom House, Dublin 1; Mr. Gerard A. Meagher, Custom House, Dublin 1. The powers and functions of the Local Appointments Commissioners have been reviewed from time to time but no change in the status, procedures of operation or public accountability of the commissioners is proposed at present.
