The Industrial Development Authority and Córas Tráchtála were involved in some of the journeys abroad referred to in the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 351 of 4 March 1980 when the purpose of the visit was trade or industrial promotion. Where a State or semi-State agency was involved in these visits the agency bore some of the cost as appropriate to it.
As expenditure of this nature is a matter of day-to-day administration of the bodies concerned, I have no details of the cost involved for them.
