asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the extension to the national school at Moone, County Kildare.

It is proposed to provide one extra classroom and a general purposes room at Moone national school.

Satsifactory evidence of title to the site for the extension is awaited.

Planning is proceeding in the meantime in anticipation of good title to the site extension being supplied.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the building of a new national school at Clane, County Kildare.

It is proposed to provide two new national schools at Clane, one for boys and one for girls, to replace the two existing schools. Each school will comprise 12 classrooms and a general purposes room.

The examination of the tenders received for these projects has now been completed and I have authorised the Commissioners of Public Works to allow both projects to proceed to contract.
