Total revenue from out-of-State tourism in 1977, 1978 and 1979 was £237.9 million, £278.7 million, and £299.7 million, respectively. The Bord Fáilte revenue target for 1980 as set out in their tourism plan 1980-84 was for a 7 per cent increase in real terms. As to the likely prospects for 1980, I would refer the Deputy to my reply of 1 May 1980, to a question by Deputy Tom O'Donnell (Dáil Question No. 6).
