asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry, and when payment will issue.

There has been no delay in dealing with this case. As soon as notification of the completion of the work is received in my Department, a final inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

There has been no delay in dealing with this case. As soon as planning permission, which the applicant has been requested to furnish to my Department, is received, a grant of £600 will be approved. The applicant should also notify my Department if work has been completed so that a final inspection can be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

As soon as planning permission for the provision of a septic tank and notification of completion of works are received in my Department, a final inspection will be arranged with a view to the approval and payment of grants for improvement works and water and sewerage installations.
