The development of Letterkenny Hospital is being carried out in two general stages. The new main multi-storey block is expected to be completed towards the end of 1980. This block will be brought into use early in 1981 to provide patient accommodation while the existing hospital buildings are being renovated. This renovation which is the final stage of the scheme is expected to be completed towards the end of 1982.
