No payment was made in 1979 under the scheme of grants for co-operative packing and grading stations for horticultural products. A total of £29,595.28 was paid in that year to three producers' organisations under the scheme of financial aid to encourage the formation and operation of producers organisations for fresh fruit and vegetables.
