Vol. 322 No. 6

Written Answers. - Public Service Competitions.

349.

asked the Minister for the Public Service the present situation regarding candidates who sit internal competitions within the public service having access to the markings and percentages they achieved in their examinations: if Government policy has changed in recent years in this respect; and if he will ensure that candidates are informed of their results in such internal competitions.

The position is that candidates at internal civil service competitions are given access to the marks they receive at written competitive examinations. Candidates are not supplied with markings for other competitions, for example, interviews and written qualifying tests. There has been no change in Government policy in this respect in recent years nor is any change contemplated.
