Vol. 324 No. 2

Supplementary Estimates, 1980 - Vote 24: Prisons.

I move:

That a supplementary sum not exceeding £6,530,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1980, for expenses in connection with prisons, including centres of detention for juveniles: and for welfare services.

I recommend the Supplementary Estimate to the House and, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose that the debate on it will take place in conjunction with the debate on Supplementary Estimates for Votes 22 and 23 due to take place tomorrow.

That is the only place where there is not a cut-back.

Vote put and agreed to.
