asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will be made.

Any delay that has arisen in this case has been due to the huge number of applications being processed in my Department. Payment will be made as soon as possible.
