The proceedings under which this property was acquired by the Land Commission are the subject of an action which is listed for hearing in the High Court at an early date. Proposals for allotment of the lands must await the outcome of this action.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission proposes allocating the Colgan estate, Ballyhast, County Westmeath, and the Boyd-Rochfort estate, Castletown, County Westmeath.
It is hoped to include both properties in next year's allotment programme.
