asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will investigate the alleged faults on telephone line 371070; and whether this telephone is now working satisfactorily.

The telephone has been repaired and is now working satisfactorily.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a transfer of telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in County Wicklow.

It is expected that service will be provided within the next month or so.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for an applicant (details supplied) in County Wicklow who paid the connection fee in June 1980.

Service was provided recently.

It is expected that service will be provided early next year.

Service cannot be provided until congestion in the local exchange is relieved. It will be at least a year before this relief, by way of a new exchange and additional trunk circuits, is given.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be transferred for a company (details supplied) in County Wicklow.

Service is dependent on the provision of cable which, because of the volume of engineering work on hands, is unlikely to be completed for at least another year.
