asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a reconstruction grant to an applicant (details supplied) in County Kerry.

There has been no undue delay in this case. Notification that the work had been completed was received on 30 October and an inspection is being arranged with a view to payment.

There has been no undue delay in this case. Notification that the works had been completed was received on 20 September and an inspection is now being arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

When notification is received in my Department that work has been completed an inspection will be arranged with a view to the payment of the grant.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath whose house was inspected in January 1980.

Three inspections, including the latest carried out in September 1980, revealed that all approved works had not been completed. A further inspection is being arranged as soon as possible with a view to payment of the grant.
