The prohibitory order referred to in the reply to the Deputy's Parliamentary Question of 21 May 1980, volume 321, column 266, was made by the Minister for Transport on 14 October 1980, and the proposal by Kerry County Council for coast protection works at the Maharees will now be further processed with a view to starting work as early as possible.
