The 17 boards of conservators were dissolved and were replaced on 29 October 1980 by the Central Fisheries Board and seven regional fisheries boards. I am aware that members of the press have not been allowed to attend some meetings of these newly established boards. Attendance of members of the press at board meetings is a matter for each board to decide.
