Vol. 326 No. 3

Written Answers. - Limerick Model Schools.

59.

asked the Minister for Education if he will explain the reason for the long delay in commencing work on the rebuilding of the Model Schools, O'Connell Avenue, Limerick.

As I informed the Deputy in reply to a previous question on 11 November 1980, the Office of Public Works have been asked to prepare plans for a new school.

They have been in touch with Limerick Corporation seeking observations as required under section 84 of the Local Government Planning and Development Act, 1963 and are awaiting these observations.
