Kells Urban District Council have submitted a claim to my Department for a capital allocation to finance, inter-alia, a proposed scheme of 7 old persons dwellings at Pitchers Lane, Kells. This claim is being considered in conjunction with similar claims submitted by local authorities for capital to finance their 1981 housing programmes. Notification of the 1981 capital allocations will be issued to the various local authorities as soon as possible.
