Vol. 326 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dublin Disability Benefit Application.

160.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare whether the three sickness certificates in respect of an applicant (details supplied) in Dublin which were handed into the Ballyfermot social welfare office, Dublin, for the periods ending 5, 12 and 19 January, have now been found; and if disability benefit will now be paid.

The person concerned claimed disability benefit from 3 January 1981 and has been paid all benefit due from 7 January, fourth day of incapacity, to 22 January 1981 when he was certified fit to resume work. The payments issued on 22 January and 30 January 1981. It is understood however that the cheque which issued on 30 January 1981 was not received. A duplicate payment has now been issued. He is not entitled to pay-related benefit.
