Contract documents for Kells sewerage scheme are under consideration in my Department. The proposals for this scheme must be considered in the context of the capital resources available for the overall sanitary services programme. I cannot say when I will be in a position to convey a decision to the local authority.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position of stage 4 of the east Meath water supply scheme which is designed to improve supply in the Gormanston, Stamullen and east Meath area generally and which was submitted for approval to his Department in September 1978.
Contract documents for stage 4 of the East Meath Water Supply Scheme are under consideration in my Department.
The proposals for this scheme must be considered in the context of the amount of capital available for water and sewerage schemes and the number of such schemes in progress or getting to construction at the present time. Having regard to the need to conserve capital for schemes of the highest priority, I cannot indicate when I may be in a position to convey a decision to Meath County Council regarding their proposals for this scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the action taken by him on the working drawings for Summerhill sewerage scheme, County Meath, which were submitted to his Department on 31 January 1977; and if he expects work to commence on the scheme in 1981.
