Vol. 326 No. 11

Written Answers. - Division of Commonage.

309.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the plans his Department have for the division of commonages in western Ireland; and if he is aware of the danger of TB infection spreading among herds as a result of their being turned out on unfenced commonages.

I would refer the Deputy to paragraphs 39 and 40 of the recently published White Paper on Land Policy which deal with the question of the division of commonages in the west, including the problem of animal disease control on communal grazing lands.
