asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the nonpayment from the hardship fund of £120, in respect of 3 reactors, which has been due to a person (details supplied) in South West Cork since 1977; and whether payment will now be made.

Under the terms of the Hardship Fund Scheme as it operated during the round of testing which ended on 15 January 1978, the three reactors in question did not qualify for payment as each killed out at over 300 lbs.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when payment of compensation for a number of cows which failed the brucellosis test will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The relevant grants under the Brucellosis Eradication Scheme have been paid.
