Vol. 326 No. 12

Written Answers. - Housing Grant.

206.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

When the applicant completes and returns the form sent to him on 21 January 1981 and confirms when he took up occupation of the house, an inspection will be arranged with a view to approval and payment of a grant, if in order.

216.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway, and if he is aware that the completed work was inspected by an officer of his Department last October.

The grant has been paid. I am aware that the work was inspected in October 1980. However, some points bearing on the eligibility of the applicant for the grant raised in the report of the inspector had to be investigated and this caused some delay in arranging for payment.

218.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a solid fuel grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a housing grant from the person named.
