asked the Minister for Agriculture if there is a variable premium due to a firm (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and the amount of the premium if due.

Sums of money are or will become due to the firm in question under the variable premium scheme in respect of their exports of beef to Britain. The amount cannot be stated precisely because payment by the UK Intervention Board for Agriculture Produce lag some months behind the dates of importation of beef into Britain.
