asked the Minister for Education if he will outline the up-to-date position on the long-awaited extension to Ballina national school, County Tipperary.

Working drawings and specifications have been prepared by the Commissioners of Public Works for the proposed extension scheme at Ballina national school, County Tipperary. However, satisfactory title to the site extension has not yet been established. When this matter has been resolved, the project may proceed to the invitation of tenders.

asked the Minister for Education if he will arrange for the immediate sanction of the tender for the much needed extension to the Christian Brothers' School, Nenagh, County Tipperary.

The Commissioners of Public Works have recently submitted a report to my Department on the sketch plans for the proposed extension to the Christian Brothers' primary school in Nenagh. This report and the plans are under consideration in my Department at present and a decision will be expedited as much as possible.

asked the Minister for Education if he will sanction as soon as possible the tender for the extension to Carrig national school, Ballycommon, Nenagh, County Tipperary.

Tenders are to be invited for the proposed extension to Carrig national school, County Tipperary.

Consideration of the tenders for the project will be a matter in the first instance for the Commissioners of Public Works who are my Department's technical advisers in matters relating to national school building.

It is my intention that the building of this extension shall commence as soon as possible.
