There is no record in my Department of the receipt of a current application from the person named. A reconstruction grant of £200 was paid to her in 1975.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application from the person named. A grant of £600 has, however, been paid to a person with a different Christian name at the same address — £400 on 18 October 1979, and the balance of £200 on 28 October 1980.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding an application for a new house grant by a person (details supplied) in County Galway.
There is a record in my Department of an application from a person of the name mentioned, but with a different address. The position in this case is that the applicant is not eligible for a grant under the former scheme of new house grants as the latest date for recipt of applications was 31 December 1977 and the application was not received until December 1979. He is not eligible for a £1,000 grant as the foundations of the house were poured prior to 26 May 1977.
