There is no record in the Department of an application for a grant from the person named.

(Cavan-Monaghan) asked the Minister for the Environment if a person (details supplied) in County Cavan is an applicant for a home improvement grant; if so, the date on which he applied for the grant; the date on which he requested an inspection of the work and payment of the grant; and when it is proposed to have the inspection carried out and the grant paid.
An application was received from the person named on 30 January 1980. Notification of completion of work was received on 16 February 1981. This case is with my Department's inspector to certify payment of a grant, if in order.

The person named applied for a house improvement grant on 24 January 1980. He notified my Department on 6 May 1980 that work was complete. An inspection has been carried out and the grant will be paid shortly.
