asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The grant will be paid if and when an inspection establishes that the house is occupied by the applicant as his normal place of residence. The house was unoccupied when inspected on 27 November 1980 and again on 13 March 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny, as the work has been completed for some time and his Department have been notified.

There is no record in my Department of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

478.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a house improvement and water and sewerage grants which are owed for some time will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny in view of the fact that his Department has been notified that the work has been completed.

Payment of these grants will be made if and when an inspection establishes that the works have been satisfactorily completed. An inspection will be carried out as soon as possible. The Deputy's question is the first indication my Department have received that the works have been completed.

asked the Minister for the Environment when it is expected that a grant in respect of the installation of sewers will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Dublin as the application was made some time ago.
