asked the Minister for Education when the construction of a post primary school in Castleknock, County Dublin, will commence; if a suitable site has yet been located; if he is aware of the urgent and pressing need for a secondary school in this area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Discussions have been taking place with a view to the acquisition of a suitable site for a post-primary school in the Castleknock area. These discussions have not been completed and, accordingly, I am not yet in a position to make a statement in the matter.
