Vol. 329 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway Handicapped Persons' School.

5.

asked the Minister for Health if her attention has been drawn to submissions made by the Western Health Board which seek capital and revenue grants for the Cleggan school for handicapped persons; and if she is aware that this school will have to close unless financial assistance is made available soon by her Department.

I am so aware. However, this year's allocation of approved revenuë expenditure notified to the Western Health Board on 25 March last did not provide money for the Cleggan school for handicaped persons, nor did the Estimate for Health for 1980 make available resources sufficient for this purpose.
