133.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a £1,000 new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

One of the conditions of payment for a new house grant is that the applicant must be purchasing or otherwise providing a new house for his/her own occupation and must be the first occupier of the dwelling. As the applicant in this case was not the first occupier of the house, the application was rejected.
