Vol. 329 No. 7

Written Answers. - School Transport.

54.

asked the Minister for Education if he will ensure that suitable transport facilities are provided for children from the Newcastle area of County Dublin who attend Rathcoole community school, in view of the serious danger involved in their having to cross the Dublin-Naas dual carriageway.

Generally children from the Newcastle area live within three miles of the new community school at Rathcoole and accordingly are not eligible for free transport under the terms of the post primary school transport scheme.
