asked the Minister for the Environment why a £1,000 new house grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

A recent inspection of this house revealed some defects, which must be remedied before the grant can be paid. When my Department is notified that all necessary work has been completed, a further inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when water and sewerage grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.

A grant for the provision of water and sewerage services was paid in this case on 15 May 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a reconstruction grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.

An instalment of £300 was paid in this case on 22 June 1979. The balance will be paid if and when an inspection, which will be carried out shortly, establishes that the work was satisfactorily completed on or before 30 June 1981.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the special grant to reduce dependence on oil will be paid to a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

This grant was paid on 13 October 1981.
