Vol. 330 No. 5

Written Answers. - Laune (Kerry) Maintenance.

505.

asked the Minister for Finance why the Office of Public Works no longer maintain the embankments on that part of the river Laune at Ballymacprior, Killorglin, County Kerry which they used to maintain up to 1975/76; if he is aware that this has resulted in the farms of four local farmers in the area being flooded; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Ballymacprior embankments on the River Laune are not part of any drainage scheme administered or maintained now or in the past by the Office of Public Works.
