asked the Minister for Agriculture when a farm development grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.

The local office of the Department has not been notified by the applicant that the work has been completed. When notification is received a final inspection will be carried out and, if the work is satisfactorily completed, the grant will be paid without delay.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a headage grant for 1980 will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo.

The person referred to in the Deputy's question was requested to supply details of his off-farm income for the year ended 5 April 1980 in order that his eligibility to participate under the Cattle Headage Scheme could be determined. When he provides this information his application for headage payment will be considered.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason the 1980 headage grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim; and when payment will be made.

Payment cannot be made until documentary evidence of ownership of holding and herd in this case is supplied to the Department.

asked the Minister for Agriculture why a farm modernisation grant will not be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.

The work in this case consisted solely of concrete surfacing of a yard. Grant aid for concrete surfacing except where undertaken in conjunction with the construction of a new farm building has been terminated since 14 August 1981.
