The Embassy in London has been in touch with the British authorities frequently over the years about this matter and recently wrote concerning our anxiety for an early indication of progress in this area. Since taking office I have asked the Embassy to make every effort to persuade the British authorities to seek a resolution of this problem as a matter of urgency.
