To date approximately 50 per cent of the works proposed under the Corrib-MaskRobe drainage scheme has been completed. Three hundred and nineteen men are employed at present on the scheme compared with a peak of 371 reached during the summer months, including 1 July 1981, when weather conditions were more favourable to drainage works.
