Contract documents for the Dungarvan marine outfall scheme are under consideration in my Department. The urban council's proposals for the scheme must be considered in the context of the overall resources available for the water and sewerage programme and the number of schemes in progress or getting to construction at present including the Tramore sewerage scheme and the East Waterford water supply scheme. I cannot at present say when I will be in a position to convey a decision thereon to the local authority.
