The person named was paid the maximum cattle headage grant permissable under the 1981 scheme on 31 December 1981.
As this applicant can qualify under either the cattle headage or the sheep headage schemes, however, it will be possible shortly to make a supplementary payment so as to take advantage of the somewhat higher unit grant applicable under the sheep scheme as compared with that payable under the cattle scheme.
