When my Department are notified that the house has been completed, an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying the remainder of a house improvement grant together with a grant for the installation of a sewerage system to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford as the work was inspected and passed by an inspector.
A special second grant for rethatching was paid in full to the person named on 28 January 1982. An application was never received in respect of the installation of sewerage facilities. As the works were commenced before 1 November 1977, the latest date for the receipt of an application was 31 January 1978, and payment of a grant cannot, therefore, be considered in respect of sewerage facilities.
