Vol. 334 No. 7

Written Answers. - Applicant for Glasses.

810.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware that a person (details supplied) in Dublin has been waiting over four-and-a-half years for glasses; and if he will make immediate arrangements to have these glasses provided as the person is very severely handicapped without them.

The Eastern Health Board were contacted about this case and they have no record of an application for glasses from the person referred to in the question. If the person will get in contact with the programme manager, Community Care at Emmet House, Thomas Street, I have arranged that an application for glasses will receive urgent attention.
