975.

asked the Minister for the Environment when the reconstruction grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Clare for works which were completed in spring 1980 will be paid.

This grant will be paid if and when it is established that the work qualifies and was satisfactorily completed on or before 30 June 1981. An inspection for this purpose will be carried out shortly.

976.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will expedite the payment of a new house grant which is due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The file is with the inspector for investigation and report with a view to payment of the grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a housing inspector will call on a person (details supplied) in County Cork, who applied for a house improvement grant in December 1981 and who is still waiting for the inspector to call to enable her to proceed with the work.

There is no record in my Department of the receipt of the application referred to by the Deputy.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying a reconstruction grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The delay in this case is due to the failure of the applicant to procure from the local sanitary authority a report on the location of the septic tank. He was requested to do so on 6 May 1981, and again on 28 August 1981.
