Vol. 335 No. 7

Written Answers. - Income Tax Refund.

770.

asked the Minister for Finance the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kerry did not receive a refund of income tax.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer's affairs have been finally settled for all years up to 1980-81. No claim to repayment has been received for the year 1981-82 and the inspector of taxes is writing to the taxpayer to establish the amount of her earnings and the allowances due to her for that year to enable a review of the position to be made.
