The next instalment of the grant under the non-marketing of milk scheme will be paid shortly to the person named provided that an inspection of his herd which is due to be carried out in the near future shows that he is complying with the terms and conditions of the scheme.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a sheep headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.
There are two herdowners with same name and address as the person named and it seems each quoted the other's herd number in error and was paid accordingly. Sheep headage grant was paid to one herdowner but possibly not the correct one. An Officer of my Department will visit both herdowners shortly and correct any under- or overpayment.
